For the preliminary task in Miss Roses side of the course we have been asked to re compose a music video, our group  chose this classic rap by Eminem. Part of the whole research and planning stage is actually looking at what goes into making these video and what some of the images may mean.

Introduction

In  this side of the course we learnt about how the design of an album cover can help to associate a certain image to a particular artist. In order to show my understanding of this, I am going to analyse the album artwork for Eminem's relapse artwork and also the artwork of Bob Dylan's essential album.

The song 'Beautiful' is telling the story of how  anyone or anything can be great. We see Eminem walking around abandoned buildings as if retracing his grim past. I like to think this video is about how poverty and a failing economies have an effect on an individual.
