Evaluation of the progress I have made from AS to A2

I felt as though media studies would be a subject which would fit well with my given skills and abilities. Although I have not yet received the grading for my examination part of the AS course; I am quietly confident that I shall do well.

Behind the Video: Finished Preliminary Video Evaluation

We have completed our first music video recreation task. We decided to do the Eminem video Lose Yourself, it turned out this was a rather decent choice as although there were a lot of shots we were able to film them without having to worry about prolonged movement of the camera which can sometimes be the trickiest part of trying to replicate any piece of film. As you try to move a camera the image can become shaky or blurred meaning the overall quality is compromised.

Day 2
During the following the days of filming we had to gather some outdoor scenes. Unfortunately, it was raining therefore making the filming difficult at times as the lens would become submerged in rain water. We tried to work round this problem by covering the camera with a raincoat we found lying around the school, although it help we could not defend against the rain coming directly at us.

Upon the first day of filming we had to consider the filming locations. We ended up using the school as our filming location as we felt that the scenes featured in the video could be all captured in the school and it would therefore be quicker to film and put together.
