Upon the first day of filming we had to consider the filming locations. We ended up using the school as our filming location as we felt that the scenes featured in the video could be all captured in the school and it would therefore be quicker to film and put together.
We were reenacting the first minute of the Eminem video lose yourself, scenes in this video include a bathroom scene, a scene outdoors and a crowd scene.
We utilized the school toilets in order to film the toilet scenes. Using only a quickly drawn storyboard and our own previous acquired knowledge of the video, we accomplished a great deal in a considerably short amount of time.
When filming for this video we encountered several difficulties along the way. One being that getting the setting and props accurate was difficult. In addition to this it was difficult trying to learn which shots went where and the overall duration and choreography of each scene. I think in order to work round this for the final project we should consider picking a video that either has a strong choreographed sequence or make sure that every one in the group has a clear understanding of the composition of the video.
