Behind the Artist: Conventions of Kanye West and Hip Hop

In this video I will analyse some of the key themes in order to find out what goes into making a Hip Hop video. In a follow up post I will look at another Hip Hop artist and will be able to compile a list of  typical conventions used in most Hip Hop videos.




The first video I will choose will be one called 'Power'.


In order to get a comparison and make a better evaluation of the conventions  of hip hop, I have looked at another one of Kanyes videos and will talk about the themes that both videos have in common.
