After I gained an understanding of the kind of gender and age groups accessing this kind of music, I was intrigued to find out who is making that extra effort to keep up to date with the artist and were he is performing. These are the audience we will ideally want to attract as they will most likely be the most loyal.
I have searched both Iyaz' twitter and Facebook pages and have looked at the people who have liked his page in order to get an understanding of who his more committed fans are.It seems that the audience members most interested in finding out were he is next performing are teen girls from 13 to 19.

Of the 8 friends who have liked the Iyaz Facebook page it also seems that a majority of those are teenage girls.
Therefore our most loyal fan to our artist will be a girl of about 16 years old. I and my group a still believe however that a common and somewhat successful convention of the Hip Hop genre is that the artist themselves is male. Therefore we think it would best to carry on this theme.
